As a competitive cyclist I have had the need to attend the NJD Sports Injuries for various reasons over the past few years. As a junior I was given advice on bicycle set-up, training principles and program design. More recently I was troubled with Achilles Tendinosis, which persisted for several weeks until custom orthotics were prescribed at the above clinic, having ruled out an incorrect bicycle set-up such as saddle or cleat position, or any biomechanical factors such as muscle imbalance. Within a matter of days I was back training on the bike.
I have also attended the clinic for lower back pain, and most recently Pes Anserinus tendonitis. Each time I attend I get no nonsense answers and genuine efforts to treat the injury or problem. Even with my background in Sports Science and Sports Biomechanics I usually come away with more knowledge on injury and injury prevention than before the appointment.
“I have no reservations in recommending NJD Sports Injuries to any athlete.”
