This 1 Day course will teach you how to deliver safe, effective evidence-based Ultrasound for the use of injury treatment. Moreover, this workshop offers a multifactorial approach with the aim of optimising the healing process and thus enhancing recovery with respect to the scientific principles of tissue-healing. You will learn different treatment settings and appropriate Manual Therapy and Rehabilitation techniques for each of the respective progressive phases of tissue healing.
To be safe and clinically effective – the Therapist must use appropriate evidence-based setting with respect to the progressive phases of tissue healing. Ultrasound can be delivered within a few minutes and can be very effective, especially when used within a multifactorial approach i.e. when combined with appropriate Manual Therapy & Rehabilitation techniques. Research clearly demonstrates that a multifactorial and/or multidisciplinary approach is superior to a unilateral treatment and/or mono-disciplinary approach. Put simply, it is quite clear that no one specialty or single treatment has all the answers.
