Massage assisting tools such as spiky balls, and trigger point balls can be used for self-myofascial release, trigger point therapy and self- massage. This 90 minute workshop covers different techniques for a full body self massage routine, combine with key stretches designed to iron out all the tension and stress in your body. A perfect escape from the office desk, car, or as part of your recovery following gym, training or building up to an event, whatever it is that is causing you muscle soreness.
We will provide education and practical experience on how to use of these effective pieces of equipment and look at some of the current research around self-massage tools. Exercises will aim to improve mobility and flexibility and can also be used for injury prevention and exercise recovery. You will also receive a video link with exercises used in the session. This workshop is especially beneficial to athletes, runners, cyclists, and cross fitters involved in regular training and/or racing to enhance recovery and improve tissue condition following injury.
