Triathlon England Cross Duathlon Champion 2015 Xterra Malaysia AG Champion 2014 European Xterra AG Champion 2013 Having worked closely with NJD over the last 6 years from getting into Triathlon from fell running, their experience and knowledge has been second to none and has helped me achieve strong results. NJD Sports Injury & Bikefit Centre can provide expert unique 3-Step Integrated Bike-Fit Packages for both on-road and off-road racing, so anyone wishing to get a solid set-up on the bike this is the place to be. "Nick’s practical experience from the set up is backed up with scientific knowledge, with the small changes making big gains. Their Bikefit-Package is more than how you are positioned on the bike and their unique Musculoskeletal Screening definitely helps achieve the best set-up for various body misalignments. Their unique approach examines Man-and-Machine in detail and their interaction. I would certainly recommend NJD for a first class service".
Matthew Bottrill
National Time trial champion
Matthew Bottrill (arguably the UK's best Time-Trialist) 2013 - National Champion 50 Mile TT. Runner-up in the 10 and 25 Mile TT "Myself and my Coach Bob Tobin, consulted (Nick) at NJD Sports Injury Clinic in Jan 2013. This was a result of listening to his talk on their unique 3-step integrated 'Bikefit-Package' at the 2012 ABCC Annual 'Pedal-Power' Conference held in Coventry. The talk focused very clearly on improving efficiency of the FOOT/PEDAL Interface. Crucially, this often neglected area can offer the opportunity to acquire those elusive but important marginal-gains. "I was very pleased with the service the provided and have since noticed an improvement in my pedaling efficiency - power output. Unlike most Bikefitters, their service involves a thorough Musculoskeletal Examination - used to optimise the Bikefit process"
Brian Cookson OBE
Head of World Cycling
UCI President and former President of British Cycling "As a lifelong cyclist, living in Whalley, I have personally consulted NJD Sports Injury Centre on numerous occasions over the years, and have always received first class, thorough, no nonsense treatment for my aches, pains and injuries. I have no hesitation in recommending them"
Emily Hughes
GB triathlete
"I visited Nick and Nicola for a Bikefit (June 2013), and to get their opinion on some ongoing injury issues I've been having. They were very knowledgeable and refreshingly innovative compared to some of the other more standard 'bikefits' that I have had in the past. I am now much more clued up about how to make ongoing adjustments to my bike set up as needed. I am happy to recommend NJD Sports Injury Clinic to triathletes, duathletes and cyclists of all levels" "I'm sure I will be back to see them again as required - THANKS" Emily Hughes (Age Group Triathlete/Duathlete and Personal Trainer)

Dr. Phil Batin
Cyclist
Leeds sportive rider extraordinaire "I am delighted to provide a testimonial highlighting the benefits I have derived from NJD Sports Injury Clinic’s comprehensive Bikefit Package and Service. Nick is always very professional in his approach and inspires confidence by his detailed explanation of why changes are being made. Throughout the process I felt that I was involved in all the decisions being made and that my views were being considered and incorporated into the plan. I would highly recommend his services to anyone who cycles on a regular basis and who wants to improve how they feel on a bike and boost their performance overnight". Is it all worth the effort? – "I spend 10 to 15 hours per week cycle training. Like many other cyclists, I have invested considerable amounts of money on bikes and accessories. However, the very modest time and money invested in Nick’s assessment (and the cycle coaching) is by far the best investment I have made to date"

I have visited Nick (NJD Sports Injury Centre) twice now, the first time was for a Bikefit and I cannot stress the importance of having one and considering how much a bike costs it’s a small price to pay. I had experienced long standing issues with my knee and following an assessment both Nick & Nicola took the time to explain their findings and ideas to me. I was fitted with cleat wedges and also had my existing orthotics modified to suit my riding. Not long afterwards I took part in a 2 week, 1200 mile ride which took me over the Pyrenees - without the Bikefit I believe it would have been even more painful. Twelve months later I began to experience discomfort in my knee again. Nick was able to schedule an appointment for me on a Saturday and quickly identified the cleats were in the wrong position. He re-aligned them and suggested I consider increasing my pedal float by changing cleat type. "I would recommend NJD to anyone requiring a Bikefit and to anyone experiencing discomfort when riding".
